No time running on weekdays is a trouble for many office workers. If you concentrate your exercise time on two days on the weekend, can it still bring the same benefits as your daily exercise? A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA Network) shows that weekend warriors (or weekend sportsmen) training model, that is, focusing weekly training in one or two days, can effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, just as effective as physical activity in a week.
In fact, sports have always been closely related to good mental health. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s traditional recommendation for good mental health is a physical activity of 150 minutes a week.
