A cat born without hind legs
This beautiful orange cat shining in the sunset is Daji. If you don't look carefully, no one can probably tell that this cat only has two legs, right?
The first time the shop owner met Daji was in 2019. At that time, Daji was still a little cat. He dragged his heavy body and walked with difficulty on the road filled with cars.
It is still so small and should be protected by its mother cat, but now it has to look for food on its own. It is difficult not to attract onlookers to such a scene.
A little brother followed it secretly and found that the cat's destination was a trash can near the store. Out of kindness, the little brother fed the little guy some food.
What was unexpected was that when the boy opened the door the next day, he found the cat guarding the door of his shop. It's really smart. I only fed it once and the little guy remembered his specific location.
From then on, this orange cat would come to my brother's house every once in a while to ask for food. For this reason, he specially placed a cat nest for the cat in the corner of the shop, and named it "Daji", which is homophonic to big orange. The kind-hearted shopkeeper nearby also liked this little cutie very much. Whenever there was something delicious, he would think of Daji first.

I thought that Daji would live a carefree life under everyone's favor. However, when the epidemic came, the business of physical stores became worse and worse, and many shopkeepers closed down. For Daji, even though the business was bleak, the brother still insisted on opening the store.
After persisting for nearly half a year, under the persuasion of his family, the younger brother had to close the shop and go to work in another city. Due to various reasons, he could not take Daji away.
So one month before leaving, I started looking for a new owner for Daji. After careful screening, I finally found a suitable owner for Daji, a young lady who has raised cats for many years.
My brother took Daji to the pet hospital for a physical examination. Because of his careful feeding, Daji was in very good health. Even though he lost two legs, he still weighed eight pounds.
Daji seemed to be aware of the upcoming parting. He lay in his brother's arms for a long time, unwilling to leave. Even if he was reluctant to leave, he had to keep moving forward. No matter humans or cats, we must live strong and happily!
