Recently, staff from Yijiaping Station, an old county town in Zhouzhi National Nature Reserve Administration of Shaanxi Province, discovered wild giant panda images while collecting and reading infrared camera data installed at the entrance of Longdonggou. Staff analyzed that this image and photo were taken on May 21 this year. An adult wild giant panda was passing through a gentle coniferous and broad mixed forest belt with an altitude of 1,400 meters, and was probably looking for water nearby.

It is understood that this is the first time that the giant panda has been photographed in the infrared monitoring camera setting in the past decade, and it is also the closest wild giant pandas to the human activity area in the existing infrared camera data in Zhouzhi Reserve. The airport is only about 15 minutes walk from farmers and is more than 300 meters straight from Yijiaping Station.
