GIC subscribes approximately 1088 million units and holds 9.8% of the shares, making it the second largest investor behind trust sponsor NTT Group (NTT Limited). The sponsoring agency holds a 25% stake.

NTT Data Center Real Estate Investment Trust (NTT DC REIT) initial public offering shares (IPO) received a subscription rate of 4.6 times, 30 million units for public subscriptions received a subscription rate of 9.8 times, and 4.0 times, allocated units received a subscription rate of 4.0 times.

Trust disclosed on Friday (11th) evening that at noon on Thursday (10th), it received 14,166 valid applications from the public, with a total of S$376.2 million, and the application purchase volume reached 294.811,000 units. In addition, when it closed last Friday (4th), it received more than US$2.2 billion in cash, and all allocated units were subscribed. The underwriting agency exercised its option and allocated an additional 51.474,000 units.

Trust's IPO price is US$1.00 per unit, and retail investors can subscribe for S$1.276 per unit. It will be traded on the Singapore Exchange main board on the first day next Monday (July 14).

NTT Data Center REIT's portfolio has six data centers, four each in the United States, Austria and Singapore, with a total valuation of approximately US$1.6 billion.

Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp., one of the global telecom giants, launched the data center real estate investment trust listed in Singapore, and also received seven cornerstone investors including the Singapore Government Investment Corporation (GIC), subscribed to 172.77 million units.
