Can the clothes be cleaned when they are stained with latex paint?

When painting a room, you will accidentally get latex paint onto the clothes. How to clean the latex paint stains? Let’s follow the editor to see how to clean latex paint on your clothes.

Latex is a synthetic resin. Except for nylon silk, it has an adhesive effect on most cellulosic materials, so it can stick firmly to clothing. At the same time, it has another characteristic, which is that it is soluble in a variety of solutions. Some water-soluble paints (can be dissolved in water) can be removed if the clothes are accidentally stained with water and then clean them in time.

If it is not washed with water, you can use 60℃ liquor, or mix alcohol and water by yourself (the ratio is about the same as the ratio), soak the latex paint stains on the clothes with wine or mixture, soak for half an hour, rub it with water until the paint stains are washed. Finally, rinse it with clean water.

Tips:

1. Use a kitchen tissue to suck off the remaining latex paint as much as possible.

2. Dip white cloth and gently pat the back of the stain with a white cloth.

3. Use clean water to thoroughly wash the stains on the clothes.

4. If the stain is still there, apply some enzyme-added laundry detergent on both sides of the stain, then put it in the washing machine, pour in the enzyme-added laundry detergent, and wash it with the highest water temperature that the clothes can withstand.

5. After the paint is dry, apply a layer of Vaseline on it and wash it with ordinary detergent after a few minutes. (You can also apply cooling oil without Vaseline, because the cooling oil contains Vaseline).

6. Latex paint is a paint that uses water as the main raw material and adds a small amount of fungicide, anti-mold and defoaming agent. It is more durable and firm than ordinary paints, and is less likely to fade or grow mold. If the clothes are accidentally stuck to the latex paint, first use a kitchen tissue to suck off the remaining latex paint as much as possible, then add 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent without bleach to 1 cup of warm water, then soak the spots with latex paint stains in the above diluted laundry detergent, and gently rub it from the back of the stain, so that the latex paint can be removed.
